There is a new feature on BrainHQ–and I am really excited to share it with you! We built it to help motivate people to keep up with their brain training by creating their own BrainHQ teams and checking in with their friends.
Why did we build this feature? Well, a while ago, I noticed that while both my Mom and I really wanted to train more on BrainHQ, we were having trouble finding the time. But I knew that if my Mom knew that I was training, she would train. And if I knew my Mom had been training, I’d remember to train, too. That way we’d both be exercising our brains more–and as an added benefit, we’d be more in touch with each other.
We reached out to other BrainHQ users, and found out that they liked the idea of creating a “check-in” team with their friends or family members, too!
We are excited to say that this check-in feature is now live and available for everyone. Whether you’re training on a computer, smartphone, or tablet, you can now create your own training team–and add up to 10 friends and family members to it! When any of your teammates train, you’ll get a notification. And when you train, they’ll get one. These check-ins can motivate you all to keep up with your BrainHQ training, and help you feel connected and supported as you work out your brains.
But just to be clear: We value your privacy. The only thing that gets shared with your teammates is that you used BrainHQ. Not your scores, stars, how long you trained, or what exercises you did. Just that you trained.
Since this feature launched, I’ve been training more, and my Mom has too. I hope it works that way for you and your team! For complete instructions on how to make your own team, check out our Guide.
